MIAMI, May 18, 2022 – Canadian low-cost carrier WestJet Airlines will transition from the core TRAX maintenance software system to eMRO — the TRAX cloud-based aviation maintenance solution. TRAX eMRO and eMobility are positioned at the leading edge of industry developments with products that support digital signatures, paperless Workpacks and manuals, RFID-capable for logistics, Biometric security, off-line capability for mobile apps, and the ability for its users to work anywhere with easy access to real-time information.

WestJet first went live with the TRAX system in 2005. Since then, the company has continued to evolve and modernize its technology in support of its ever more efficient and improved operation. In 2019, the airline implemented TRAX eMobility with the launch of QuickTurn to mobilize its work processes so that its staff can work from anywhere using their mobile devices. WestJet continues to focus on the use of eMobility apps with Task Control, Line Control and AeroDox as part of their drive for a paperless operation.

Tech savvy TRAX customers like WestJet are turning to eMRO as a proven web-based device-agnostic solution with a modern user interface and a zero-install client. It matches how aviation works today.
