The individual can select a flight from this list to view information relevant to fueling and flight planning, such as average contingency fuel (planned vs burned), average ZFW deviation (planned vs actual), departure/arrival runway information, historical city-pair performance (in lateral and vertical profiles), and best practices to help reduce fuel consumption.
    3. Then, the Debriefing screen shows previous flights assigned to the pilot. The individual can select a flight from this list to view their actual savings versus both potential savings and company-specific targets for each efficiency parameter. They can also view this flight in lateral and vertical profiles to see planned trajectory versus actual trajectory to identify efficiency opportunities throughout the flight.
    4. Finally, you will see how airlines can provide instant, automatic, user-specific access to the latest custom reports, so that fuel efficiency managers do not need to manually distribute reporting to flight crews.

    First you will see a full demo and overview of ClearPath.  You will see how the solution combines real-time flight data (weight, used cost index, flight plan, active FMS route, etc.) with a sophisticated ground-based service that use next-gen algorithms linked directly to the industry’s leading high-resolution global weather model, to provide pilots with an easy-to-read report (via their EFB, or printer or display) providing decision support for selecting the most optimal flight level in all stages of flight to save fuel, CO2 emissions and time.
  2. Aventis Demo and Overview: Real-Time Automatic Optimized Wind Data Uplink
    Next you will see a demo of Aventus which up-links precise wind and temperature data to the aircraft to improve FMC calculations during climb, cruise and decent. As you will see Aventus calculates the optimal wind levels to be inserted to best represent the current climb, cruise and descent wind profile for each flight for optimum efficiency and significant fuel saving. The up-links can be sent directly to the FMC or as a text message to the cockpit.  Aventus utilizes the most accurate high-resolution weather forecasts from the UK Met Office combined with AVTECH’s patented algorithms to calculate optimum wind levels.
