Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 7th April 2022) and join digital manuals and content specialists Comply365, and a Chief Pilot from the world’s largest low-cost airline, as they discuss the use of operational content in the flight deck with Comply365’s Mobile App. The interview will be followed by a demo of ProAuthor, Comply365’s powerful solution for authoring, editing, revising, and publishing manuals and content, and electronic forms for capturing crew feedback and information.  During the Webinar you will hear first-hand, real-world, feedback from the Chief Pilot on how crews in the cockpit interact with digital operational smart content.  You will see a demo of the Comply365 Mobile App, following how a pilot uses the App to easily access role-specific manuals, lists, procedures, and other key documents that need to be followed to conduct safe and efficient operations. You will learn from the Chief Pilot what types of documentation the crews in the flightdeck use the most, and what he specifically uses the App for – pre-, during, and post-flight.

Pilots, cabin crew, and other key front-line personnel can seamlessly access their key role-based content via the mobile app. They are generally at the downstream end of operational content management, butwhat happens upstream? Next, you will see how the content is created via a demo of ProAuthor, Comply365’s solution for content and manual authoring and distribution. You will also see how the content is updated (with full revision history) and reviewed by the different contributors in the process. Finally, you will see how frontline staff (pilots, cabin crew, engineers, etc.), as well as accessing content, can also generate digital information using electronic forms in the Mobile App. During the Webinar you will see some examples of information captured by crews using electronic forms and then sent back for consumption to different teams at the airline.

Please take a seat, register below, and enjoy this 60-minute flight with Comply365!

The Webinar is divided into four key sections:

  • Pilot Talk: Hear how a Chief Pilot uses the Comply365 app
First, you will hear from Capt. Mike H, a career-pilot with thousands of flight hours in his logbook at the world’s largest low-cost airline. You will hear how he uses the Comply365 App in his daily routine, pre-, during and post-flight, to easily access manuals, lists, procedures, and other documents that need to be followed to conduct safe and efficient operations.  You will learn what type of documentation the crews in the flightdeck use the Mobile App to access the most, and how the App has revolutionized the document, manual, compliance, and information management process for pilots at the airline.

  • Demo 1: ProAuthor – Authoring and Reviewing Content and Manuals (The Upstream)
Next, the Comply365 team will take you on a demo of their popular ProAuthor solution, as used by more than 90 customers worldwide to save users 50 to 80 percent of the time spent on authoring, revising, and distributing manuals and content. The demo will show how content is created with key features such as creating reusable content, XML auto-generation, and more, and how the content is updated (with full revision history) and reviewed by the different contributors in the process.

  • Demo 2: Comply365 Mobile App Demo – Consuming Content (The Downstream)
Then, you will see a demo of the powerful Comply365 Mobile App as used by frontline staff (pilots, cabin crew, engineers, etc.) to seamlessly access key role-specific content and manuals.  Key features you will see include: document reader, personal revision notes and highlights, filtering and searching content, and personalization using highlights and bookmarks; and more.

  • Demo 3: Electronic Forms – Collecting Data from Crews
Finally, you will see how frontline staff (pilots, cabin crew, engineers, etc.), as well as accessing content, can also generate digital information using electronic forms in the Mobile App. During the Webinar you will see some examples of information (these can include: routine pre-flight or in-flight checklists, reports of medical incidents or diversions, etc.) captured by crews using electronic forms and then sent back for consumption to different teams at the airline.
