Yes Airways Selects Commsoft’s OASES to Support its New Charter Operations

  • Commsoft is a leading global provider of MRO IT systems
  • Commsoft’s OASES is one of the world’s most successful aviation engineering and maintenance systems, used by over 50 organisations globally
  •  Start-up Polish airline Yes Airways has signed a 5 concurrent user deal with Commsoft for the use of its OASES system including new AMP revision management
  • Commsoft will support Yes Airways’ rapid start up, helping to manage the first Airbus A320s to be operated by a Polish Airline

London, 30th March 2011

Yes Airways (“Yes”) www.yesairways.pl, a new Polish airline has chosen Communications Software (Airline Systems) Limited (“Commsoft”) www.commsoft.aero to provide it with market leading software systems for managing the maintenance of its fleet. Yes has chosen Commsoft’s Open Aviation Strategic Engineering System (“OASES”) to support its planned charter operations with Airbus A320 aircraft.

To begin with, Yes will be operating two Airbus A320s and the airline plans to expand, adding at least four more aircraft over the next two years. The flexibility of the OASES system means that Commsoft can extend the support it offers to Yes as it grows, adding more modules as the client requires them. Commsoft will help rapidly implement OASES so that Yes will be able to quickly obtain CAMO approval and begin operations as planned in late April this year.

At Yes Airways, the OASES system will initially cover:

  • Reliability, Tech Logs and Defect Control
  • Technical Records and Forecasting
  • AD/SB Evaluation
  • Planning and Workpack Production
  • Digital Documentation for Workcard Manual Attachments
  • AMP Revision Management

Nick Godwin, Business Development Director at Commsoft, commented on the deal:

“We are delighted to have won Yes Airways as a new customer and to be able to support its aggressive start up schedule. Key staff at Yes are former OASES users from other airlines and we are particularly pleased that we will be able to continue our excellent relationship with them. Yes Airways will be the first customer to ‘go live’ with new AMP management functionality in OASES.”

Jacek Łyczba, President of Yes Airways added:

“We were looking for a system that would be powerful enough to meet not only our current, but also future requirements in the course of dynamic growth, yet friendly and efficient in use. Therefore, we are very pleased with the selection of the OASES system, as well as excellent relations and professional support from the Commsoft team.”

Commsoft’s OASES is a sophisticated and easy to use system that is utilised by national and regional carriers, third party maintainers, cargo specialists, charter operators and specialist rotable stockists around the world. Commsoft has four regional centres in the UK, an international office in Australia and a technical support office in India.
