Privacy Policy
On 25th May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect giving individuals in the European Union (EU) enhanced rights over the use of their personal data. As a result, we (Aircraft IT) have updated our data privacy policy.
Under the GDPR, we can only hold and process your personal data on one or more of the grounds authorised by the GDPR. In this notice we advise you of the basis on which we will receive and process your personal data and of your rights under the GDPR.
If you register to attend one of our webinars or register to view an On-Demand webinar, we will ask you to enter certain personal information sufficient to enable us to process your webinar attendance and to communicate with you regarding this webinar. The basis for our receiving and processing this information will be that we’ve deemed you to have a legitimate interest in Aircraft IT, our offerings, and the offerings of the host software Vendor. The Webinars contain sensitive information and are not available in the public domain. Therefore we are required to share your information with the Webinar host Vendor in order for them to approve your participation in the Webinar session or view the On-Demand Webinar video. We will then no longer be responsible for that data, please refer to the Webinar host’s own individual privacy policies hosted within their websites. The Webinar host Vendor may therefore contact you after the Webinar with information on what was shown during the session.
Opt-In For Further Communications
If you agree to opt in to receive communications from us, we will take this as you are giving your consent to receiving such communications / Webinar invitations / eJournals / conference invitations and this consent will authorise us to process your data. We could also ask you for certain optional additional information for marketing purposes for services that we deem you to have a legitimate interest in.
You can withdraw your consent at any time in one of the ways described below or by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button on any emails we send you. Once you do this, any personal data of yours will be deleted permanently from our records.
Protection Of Your Personal Information
We will not use your personal data other than for the purposes described in this notice.
Except as described above, we will not sell your personal data or share it with any other third parties.
We will not keep your personal data for longer than is necessary for the stated purposes.
We will take all reasonable and necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data.

This Customer Data Privacy Policy governs the collection and use of personal information relating to potential and existing customers of Aircraft IT, its parent company AviationNextGen Ltd, and affiliated companies Aircraft Commerce and Aircraft Commerce Consulting.
Aircraft IT is committed to abiding by this Customer Data Privacy Policy, as well as the requirements of applicable laws, in the operation of its business.

By your continued use of our services (including our websites, webinars and newsletters), you consent to the collection and use of your personal information by Aircraft IT for the purposes set out in this Customer Data Privacy Policy.
Website Usage and Cookies
If you are using our websites, we will use your personal information to help you to log on to your account and into restricted areas of our websites and to permit future use of the web site. We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, or to administer our websites. We may conduct analysis of user traffic to measure the use of our sites and to improve the content of our websites and our services. This analysis will be performed through the use of IP addresses and cookies. We may also use cookies to enable the signing in process after you have registered with us and to provide you with more tailored information when you return to our web sites. Third Party
We will only disclose personal information about you to third parties for processing purposes associated with the supply of goods and services, for web site administration, or elsewhere when you have consented to such disclosures, or where such disclosures are required or permitted by law. These third parties we contractually bound only to use personal information to perform the services that we hire them to provide. You can obtain further information about third party privacy policies or disable their cookies by visiting their web sites.
Virtual Products
In the case of your use of one of our virtual products e.g. live software webinars we may pass the personal information you provided to us to 3rd parties. Generally this will be via a process whereby you, as the user, visit or interact with a 3rd party e.g. take part in a live software webinar hosted by an IT Vendor. In these instances our virtual products are sponsored and, in such cases the data you provided to us will be given to the sponsoring IT Vendor.
If you wish to change your contact preferences with an individual exhibitor/sponsor, please follow their own unsubscribe request details. Unsubscribing to the Aircraft IT will stop Aircraft IT from contacting you in the future, but not the individual 3rd parties whom you have interacted with.
We take your contact preferences very seriously. If you would prefer for your details not to be passed to any 3rd parties as laid out in this section, you are advised not to register for the virtual product.
Use Of Interactive Features On The Website
It is forbidden to promote a product or service whilst using the interactive areas of the Aircraft IT website, including but not limited to: asking an author a question or leaving feedback regarding an article in the eJournals. Any members abusing this rule may be banned from the web site.
Becoming A Member Of Aircraft IT
By filling in the sign up form you automatically consent to becoming a member of Aircraft IT. Membership entitles you to receive every eJournal, be able to access the back issues, and access to all the interactive areas of the web site, including but not limited to: private software demos, live software webinars, ask the expert, feedback in the eJournals, ask the author a question. You can unsubscribe at any time, using the link in the web site.
Email Capture
Aircraft IT may from time to time send updates about Aircraft IT products and services, including but not limited to upcoming webinars, conferences and latest eJournals. Your email address will not be given to 3rd parties except where outlined in the data privacy policy. By providing your email address you consent to being contacted for direct marketing purposes by Aircraft IT.
Security Of Personal Information
We use administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard personal information against loss, theft and unauthorised uses, access or modifications. Certain areas of our web site are password protected. If you are a user of our web site and have a password, you can help to preserve your privacy by ensuring that you do not share your password with anyone else.
We take steps to regularly validate the personal information we hold to ensure that the information is accurate and, where necessary, up to date. Information that is no longer required for any valid business purpose, and that we are not required to keep pursuant to any applicable law, will be routinely destroyed by secure means.
Making Automated Decisions
We do not ordinarily use personal information for the purposes of automated decision making. However, may do so in order to fulfil compelling obligations imposed by law, in which case we will inform of any such processing and provide you with an opportunity to object.

Any changes we may make to our privacy policy and terms and conditions in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
