Thales Pad – The connected and mobile aircraft tablet
Thales has launched a revolutionary connected and mobile Windows-based aircraft tablet – the Thales Pad.
The Thales Pad combines the best of the consumer and avionics worlds, a docking station and an Aircraft Interface Device.
The Thales Pad has been specifically designed for cockpit use thanks to its specific features which include:
- Avionics grade display readable in all luminosity conditions, night and day
- Secured communications with avionics and open world
- A single connector for data and power fully integrated in a patented aircraft docking station
- Fully compliant to DO160, EFB AC 120-76 and AMC 20-25
- Removable battery, GPS, Backlighted buttons, ADSB-in capable…
The tablet is compatible with the Thales Electronic Flight Bag global solution – TopWings – that comprises hardware, software and services.
In addition, The Thales Pad is customizable and can be open to third-party applications.
By selecting this solution, aircraft operators benefit from the Thales warranty and worldwide 24/7 support.
