Malmö, Sweden; May 24, 2022: Web Manuals, the world leader in digitalizing manuals for the aviation industry, announces changes to its Board of Directors, including the appointment of Jimmy Bäckström as chairman.
Since joining the Board in 2016, Bäckström has played a significant role in developing the growth strategy for Web Manuals. His experience as chief revenue officer at inriver, a B2B software company in Malmö, will guide the business as it extends its customer base and expands into new markets.
Web Manuals also welcomes two new members to its Board. Katja Dömer, chief marketing operator at inriver, will assist with ongoing market strategies at Web Manuals. Charlotta Falvin, who sits on the board of several fast-growing Swedish technology companies will advise on product upgrades and technological developments.
Having signed more than 40 customers since the start of 2022, and over 450 aviation businesses now using its software, Web Manuals has also announced several internal promotions this year across the US, Europe and APAC region to support with increasing global demand.

The announcement comes after the Sam Aston, who led the work of the Board of Directors since 2016, transitions out of his role as chairman.
