Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 13th March 2025) to explore the latest advancements in digital aviation manuals, company-wide content management, and compliance monitoring through a demo of Yonder, the innovative XML-powered, all-in-one smart content management platform, as used worldwide by airlines, operators, OEMs, and MROs such as Malaysia Airlines, TUI Group, Cargolux, Freebird, Jekta, and more. During the Webinar, using demos of the solution, Yonder experts will guide you through the advanced capabilities following workflows tailored for document managers and end users (pilots, cabin crew, engineers). You will discover how Yonder empowers airlines, operators, OEMs, and other organizations with unparalleled control over their documentation, and see how the solution seamlessly imports operational documentation and manuals in various formats (PDF, MS Word, XML), transforming them into smart content with integrated editing, distribution, automated compliance tracking, and regulation monitoring. During the session, you will gain insights into managing revisions efficiently, including automated OEM manual updates (FCOM, MEL, FCTM, QRH), and see how frontline employees (pilots, cabin crew, engineers) can access up-to-date, role-specific content via the powerful Yonder App– accessible both online and offline. Additionally, you will be introduced to new features such as advanced XML authoring, revision comparison tools, electronic forms with customizable workflows, and advanced end-user compliance reporting.

Key Sections of the Webinar:

Yonder Introduction: Smart Documentation and Today’s Challenges
Marc Rauch, Founder & CBO of Yonder, introduces why Yonder is a groundbreaking solution that moves beyond static PDFs and linear content flows. He outlines flaws in current approaches to documentation management which still largely mirror traditional paper-based processes and explains how Yonder’s modular approach breaks these limitations and redefines the standards for managing aviation manuals.

Yonder App Demo: End User Workflow (Pilot, Cabin Crew, Engineers)
Next you will explore the Yonder App available for Apple, Windows, and Android devices. The demo showcases key features that make it a user-friendly solution for frontline employees:

  • Offline Reader: Access documents offline on all platforms.
  • Notifications: Role-specific updates on information changes or new revisions.
  • Electronic Forms: Customizable forms with offline functionality.
  • Highlights & Notes: Personal annotations that transfer between revisions.
  • Personalization: Favorites and tailored document views for individual roles.
  • Tasks: Manage compliance with “read” or “read-and-acknowledge” tasks.
  • Filters & Search: Simplify complex documents to show only relevant information.

Yonder Demo: Compliance Reporting and Revision Comparisons
Next, from a document manager’s perspective, you will see how to initiate changes, approve updates, track end-user compliance status, and compare document revisions side-by-side to save time while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Features you will see include:

  • Compliance Reporting: Generate reports on compliance status by role or individual user.
  • Revision Comparisons: Identify changes across revisions for streamlined updates.

Yonder Demo: Smart Document Manager Workflows
Next you will see how Yonder enhances efficiency for document managers by automating workflows for content updates or customization of manufacturer manuals.

Key features include:

  • Integrated Workflows: Streamline approvals and distribution processes.
  • Reused Content: Update multiple documents simultaneously when content changes.
  • Regulation Links: Automatically track regulatory changes affecting documentation.
  • Audit Trails: Maintain a clear record of approvals and acknowledgments.

Yonder Demo: Automatic OEM Revisions, Third-Party Integration, and XML Authoring
Finally, you will discover how Yonder automates manual updates from OEMs like Airbus, Boeing or Embraer, integrates seamlessly with third-party systems such as ASQS’s IQSMS for quality management, and enables advanced XML authoring capabilities.

Highlighted features include:

  • Automatic OEM Revisions: Import customized OEM manuals and manage updates in a largely automated process – Yonder identifies changes in new revisions and reconciles them with any customizations, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • IQSMS Integration: Effortlessly sync regulatory documents between Yonder and ASQS’s IQSMS, enabling seamless compliance tracking across systems.
  • Author OEM Documents in XML: Leverage Yonder’s powerful XML editor to author or customize OEM documents directly in XML format. This ensures precision and compatibility with industry standards.
  • Export in XML Source Format: Export documents authored or customized in Yonder back into the original XML source format, facilitating integration with external systems or other operational platforms.
