Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 26th January 2023) to see a demo of the new, innovative and industry unique end-to-end aircraft fleet maintenance management digital training platform which utilizes a real M&E / MRO system: OLATU (On-Line Aviation Training University) from 2MoRO. As you will see, the OLATU digital training platform provides aviation companies (airlines, MROs, OEMs, operators, universities, etc.) with the digital educational tools to train staff on all aspects of aircraft fleet maintenance and in several roles: maintenance planning, fleet management, aircraft technician, stores and logistics, and more, utilizing a popular M&E / MRO system (Aero-Webb) with real-world maintenance scenarios. Using demos of OLATU, 2MoRO experts will show you how users could be trained to set up a full maintenance program in the M&E / MRO system, including aircraft configuration management, preventative maintenance requirements, airworthiness management, planning, setting up the work-packages and work orders, and more. As you will see, the training uses exercises simulating concrete scenarios adapted to different generations of aircraft and with increasing complexity depending on requirements. You will also see how the solution provides training in other key areas such as technical documentation, warehousing, logistics and inventory management. OLATU is available 24/7 and provides companies the chance to train new or key staff for crucial maintenance positions without disturbing the operational environment.
The Webinar is divided into three key sections:
- OLATU (On-Line Aviation Training University) Overview
The Webinar begins with a full overview of the OLATU platform, including the training strategy, and the usage concepts. You will see the current coverage of maintenance scenarios and how the training programs can be adapted to perfectly fit requirements. As you will see, the OLATU digital training platform has been designed by aircraft maintenance experts for the aircraft maintenance business.
- OLATU Demo 1 & 2: Menus, Trainees and Trainers Accounts, Theoretical Part
Next you will be taken on a tour of the platform to see the functional map of OLATU and its architecture, composed of a theoretical and a practical part. You will also see the dedicated functionalities offered to trainees and trainers in their personal accounts. Then you will see more details regarding the theoretical part of OLATU®, including notions on Integrated Logistics data, Operations, Maintenance, and Logistics.
- OLATU Demo 3: Practical Part with a Training Scenario – Building a Maintenance Planning
Finally you will see an in-depth demo of a real-world training scenario in the OLATU platform. As you will see, with OLATU® trainees can practice through exercises (scenarios) and test their knowledge with quizzes. There is also a demonstration of the Referential Maintenance Program scenario. The objective of this exercise is to show how different aircraft activity profiles can lead to different maintenance planning and workloads with the same maintenance program.
The demo will take you through how to apply a full maintenance program including: preventative maintenance requirements, aircraft usage profiling, configuration management (allowed configuration, as-maintained configuration), maintenance programs (PMP, OMP, etc) including visit and task, AD SB, Airworthiness, work packages, work orders, maintenance planning, and more. The training scenario takes the trainee through three different aircraft situations based on activity, flight hours, SBs, ABs and more to show the impact on the maintenance planning and on building the work-packages.
About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:
Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.
The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.
Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of Flight Operations software demonstrations from the World’s leading Flight Operations IT Vendors.
