This will include an aircraft sector and turnaround (covering flight sign off, flight details, etc.); ACARS integration; airworthiness and cabin defect recording and rectification; aircraft flight sign-off; the advantages to MCC and other back-office users; and more.  You will also see demos of companion Apps including eCabinLog8 for recording cabin defects, eForm8, the electronic form builder, and eDoc8, the document management solution; and a look at eCentral8, the central admin hub / data repository providing real-time fleet status. Conduce experts will also showcase new and advanced features such as interactive LOPA charts to record cabin defects including photos, Planned Maintenance for engineers to complete scheduled work packages within eTechLog8, and a popular digital Dent & Buckle chart for recording structural defects.  You will also learn about future developments, including harnessing the power of AI / ML for predictive field entry.

The webinar ends with the Conduce team discussing how and why implementing an ELB / ETL system brings many benefits, how to achieve regulatory compliance, best practice for a successful implementation, and how the solution integrates with third-party systems and applications, including  MRO/MIS, Flight Ops, ACARS/OOOI messages, Schedules, Archiving and much more, to become a single source of truth.

The Webinar is divided into three key sections:

  1. Overview of Conduce, the webinar content, eTechLog8 and the solutions around it:
    The Webinar begins with an overview of Conduce and eTechLog8 which was launched 10 years ago. The Conduce team will talk through how the solution has evolved over the past 10 years from a paper techlog in digital form to replacing more and more paper-based functions around the cockpit and on the ground within eTechLog8 and with companion apps such as eCabinLog8, Doc8, and eForm8.  You will then see some latest developments including interactive LOPA charts to record cabin defects within eCabinLogs8, Planned Maintenance for engineers to complete scheduled work packages within eTechLog8 rather than having to log back into the main M&E system, and a popular digital Dent & Buckle chart for recording structural defects.

  2. A Demo of the functions and capabilities of eTechLog8 and the ecosystem in which it operates:
    Next using a Boeing 737 flight as an example, you will see a comprehensive demonstration of the system from a pilot and cabin crew point of view, taking you through using eTechLog8 and eCabinLog8 and how the user-friendly interface and EIDAS compliant electronic signature mechanism make the system efficient and user-friendly. including: 

    – Flight Acceptance – including data transmission and backup procedures
    – eCabinLog8 – a comprehensive companion application allowing cabin defects to be recorded (including photographed) within an interactive LOPA Chart, complete with photos and supporting information; and integration with eTechLog8 to avoid repeat reports of a fault
    – Defect Recording and Rectification – Close, Troubleshoot or Defer Defects, including comprehensive Repetitive Defect Control and MEL Integration and Structural (Dent & Buckle) defects
    – Servicing – regular fuel and fluid uplifts
    – Flight Details – the complete journey log
    – Planned Maintenance – complete scheduled work packages within eTechLog8
    – eCentral8 – the web-based administrative portal, data repository and common central distribution hub for MCC and Operations to seefleet/aircraft status in real time
    – Companion Applications – (eDoc8, eForm8 and more)

  3. Making a business use case and getting a return on investment (ROI):
    The Conduce experts will talk you through the key use cases for an eTechLog, getting a return on investment, and the business benefits of implementing eTechLog8 and companion applications, including:
