  Next, product specialist Sean McLean will showcase how skybook incorporates integrated information into an industry-leading briefing pack that delivers essential situational awareness for the flight crew. He will demo the streamlined Journey Log and how the collected data is imperative to improving efficiencies within flight operations. You will be walked through features including:
  
  – Digitized processes: Instead of a paper briefing, everything is available on the iPad.
  – Real-Time Info: The EFB is refreshed with weather, NOTAMs and OFP updates shown in the app to be as current as the data in the ground portal.
  – Status section: of the app: shows when OFP been downloaded and accepted and by who.

  Then, you will see how to take the data from the EFB and utilize it in a way that is meaningful for the airline through Reporting & Analytics, showing on-time performance metrics, KPI’s, fuel reports – planned vs actual fuel, Route data and fuel burn. The skybook team will show you the sector summary dashboard including full flight phase data capture and voyage reports with up to 5 years’ worth of flight data storage, easily managing compliance and audits. The demo will show key features and processes, including:
  
  – Collating the data that is most important to the airline: to build on time performance reports, understand your fuel usage, and start to build more accurate data sets within the airline to reveal efficiencies, find better ways of working and highlight where there are problems.
  – Capturing ATIS and ATC data: rather than having to write it down on a paper OFP, this can be done in the application.
  
  You will see also see how the data is stored in the Record Vault, allowing for the long-term storage of all flight information for each sector flown for compliance and auditing purposes. The Record Vault module stores all briefing packages for a period of up to a decade. Data including flight plans, weather, and NOTAM information for each flight are securely stored and are easily retrievable or automatically received once a journey has been closed. Fetched records can be saved locally or sent to third parties if needed. The storage of all planned and actual flight data also aids in giving valuable and measurable performance insights, improving operation efficiency.
