Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 6th May 2021) and learn about the future of in-flight connectivity with a full overview of AvioCast from AvioBook, the new all-in-one on-board QAR/AID/WAP device. During the Webinar, AvioBook experts will outline the daily operational benefits AvioCast can provide to airlines of all sizes and fleet types and how it can be easily installed in the cockpit of each. You will learn how, while in-flight, AvioCast streams live data to the flight and ground crews, broadcasts wireless flight data to EFBs, and provides the flight crew with a valuable on-board internet access point and central connectivity hotspot. You will also see how the solution can be used for App hosting and file distribution on-board, is a wireless FOQA/QAR and other key Flight Data recorder, and allows for remote monitoring for the ground crew to configure and update devices and seamlessly feed data across the airline.

The Webinar begins with an overview of the AvioBook application suite, including the latest developments in the popular EFB solution AvioBook Flight, such as greater situation awareness tools using the Globe module and powered by AvioCast in-flight connectivity. You will also see some key features of the flight crew focused tools such as AvioBook Cabin, AvioBook Tech (Electronic Techlog), and more. Next, AvioCast experts Rémi Huynh and Loic Minghetti will then take an in-depth look at AvioCast focusing on results from a recent onboard fleet wide implementation and showcasing how the solution can improve daily operations across any airline.

The Webinar is divided into the following key sections:

  1. Overview of the AvioBook Application Suite, inc EFB Solution – AvioBook Flight
    The Webinar begins with AvioBook experts providing a look at the current status of the AvioBook suite. Starting with some of the latest developments in the main EFB solution, AvioBook Flight, such as the development of greater situational awareness tools through the module Globe powered by AvioCast in-flight connectivity. The demo will then highlight some of the key features of the flight crew focused tools, AvioBook Cabin, before looking into AvioBook Tech, the Electronic Techlog solution, and AvioBook Connect for instant messaging between flight crews. This overview of the current status of the AvioBook suite will showcase how AvioCast slots within the AvioBook vision and how the solution can already start improving operations.

  2. AvioCast Overview, Development and Key Benefits
    Next Rémi Hunyh, will take you behind the scenes in the development of AvioCast. He will show you how AvioCast works as an aircraft interface device, a quick access recorder and a wireless access point. In addition to covering how the information is transferred, he will place this development within the broader trends of the industry showing how the unique design of AvioCast makes it perfect for installation and essentially future proof.

  3. AvioCast Case Study and Use Cases, inc: Implementation and Benefits
    This next section of the webinar looks into specific use cases and how easy integrating AvioCast is. Loic Minghetti is leading implementations of AvioCast at airline customers and will explain how AvioBook are supporting a major airline by deploying AvioCast across their fleet to connect crew members to the operation during all phases of flight. He will cover some of the features that this customer is taking advantage of, such as automated reports and greater situational awareness.

  4. AvioCast Now and Future Developments as Part of an Integrated EFB Ecosystem
    Finally, you will learn that AvioCast is not a static solution and is resolutely turned towards the future. The AvioBook team will take a quick look into what is next for AvioCast, the future of in-Flight Connectivity, and how that benefits airlines. In particular, you will see how AvioCast can take the EFB solutions to the next level.

  5. Q&A session with Rémi Huynh and Loic Minghetti
    The Webinar will close with your opportunity to ask questions about AvioCast and the AvioBook suite and get answers from those with real field expertise.
