Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 15th September 2022) and join the digital aviation maintenance technology specialists, Ramco Aviation Solutions, and industry experts as they provide an industry adoption update for new-age technologies such as Machine Learning, Blockchain, RPA, Voice AI, OCR, and more. You will learn answers to questions such as: how far has the adoption of these technologies progressed within aviation maintenance? Are there any use cases and success stories that industry players have implemented? Are there any significant changes and benefits these technologies have brought to aircraft maintenance? You will then see how Ramco have implemented the technologies within their own Apps and solutions with demos and use-cases, including: Machine Learning so that mechanics can consult historical data for a fix to a problem, and then automate spare parts including delivery, inventory management and finance; OCR and RPA technologies to automate PDF work packages into e-publications, extract them into the desired format and split them into e-Taskcards; Voice AI for use by mechanics on the shop floor, within an App, to interact with the M&E system for data entry, problem solving and more. You will see how the new technologies further streamline digital MRO / M&E processes.
The Webinar is divided into the following four key sections:
- A Status Check on the Adoption of Next-Gen Tech in Aviation Maintenance
In the last few years, we have been witnessing people talking about new-age technologies and how the MRO / M&E industry can benefit from them. In the various forums, these topics have been discussed and debated thoroughly. There are even partnerships and consortiums formed from industry players. Now the time has come, to ask ourselves, how far the adoption of these technologies has progressed in the industry? Are there any use cases that industry players have implemented? Are there any significant changes these technologies have brought to the table. The speakers will share their points of view on how they see this adoption and explain some of the use cases related to these technologies.
- Ramco Demo 1: Application of Machine learning in Maintenance Execution
As you will see, Ramco Systems has leveraged Machine Learning to develop value-added packages for its core MRO software. For example, if a mechanic encounters a technical problem, they can consult the system, which will use historical data to identify the most likely cause, with a probability of around 95%. It can also provide details of the parts required for rectification. If the advice is accepted, the ERP system can then automatically process the request, including delivery, inventory management and finance.
- Ramco Demo 2: Automated PDF Work Package into e-Publications for e-Taskcards
MRO service providers typically receive work package in PDF format from their airline customers. It is a laborious job to process PDF based work packages manually in order to extract the planning information and to split and associate individual task cards for execution. Typically, this effort may take a week or two for the planner to process this information depending on the size of the work package.
Next you will see how Ramco’s fully automated solution, ‘e-publications’, has the capability to read and understand the content within the PDF Work packages and extract them into the desired format. It can also split the task cards from a consolidated pdf to individual task cards and associate each one against the appropriate task.
- Ramco Demo 3: How Voice AI Tech will Disrupt MRO & M&E Digital Shop Floors
Finally you will see the future of Digital Shop floors / Hangars with Ramco Aviation Applications and intelligent voice assistants. Voice assistants will be the next-gen user experience for Ramco mobile applications. They simplify onboarding of new operators, continue to strengthen safety culture, and enhance operational effectiveness. Voice interfaces increase the cadence and quality of data entry, giving the operator or MRO real-time visibility on activity in the digital shop floor and accurate information to make better operational and business decisions.
About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:
Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.
The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.
Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of Flight Operations software demonstrations from the World’s leading Flight Operations IT Vendors.
