Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 11th July 2024) to see demos of the latest TRAX mobile and digital solutions, including the popular Electronic Technical Logbook solution (PilotLog, CabinLog), as well as real-time line maintenance Apps (QuickTurn, Line Control), and digital Task Cards solution (Task Control).  During the Webinar, the TRAX team will showcase how their suite of iOS and web Apps combine to enable a seamless paperless aircraft maintenance experience, enabling users to capture real-time information and transactions; work off-line, and seamlessly synchronize and share data; plus allow 3rd party users like lessors to access the information and engage or authorize transactions. The demos will follow real-world paperless workflows, from the Electronic Technical Logbook both in the flightdeck and cabin, to real-time line maintenance for both maintenance control to track all tasks and mechanics with mobile task alerts, and live aircraft tracking. You will also see the powerful digital task card solution – Task Control, for creating and completing work orders. The Trax team will then discuss the emergence of next generation technology such as AI, ML, and conversational AL platforms such as ChatGPT and how they are revolutionizing the way we manage maintenance.  You will see some insights into Trax developments using this technology, including Smart Queries in the MRO system using ChatGPT rather than complex menus to find information in seconds, such as spare parts requests or viewing all open defects.  Predictive analytics powered by AI and ML are also discussed.

The Webinar is divided into five key sections:

  1. Overview of Trax eMRO and eMobility Apps for end-to-end Paperless Maintenance
    First, Trax will provide an overview of their popular eMRO and eMobility Apps, as used worldwide by over 200 customers of all sizes, from large national carriers and small regional airlines to specialist MRO facilities. You will see how the iOS and web-based Apps capture real-time information and transactions, are designed to work off-line, and seamlessly synchronise and share data with the full M&E system, and other Apps; you will also see how 3rd partly users, like customers or lessors, can access information and engage or authorize transactions; all combined to provide a truly paperless end-to-end process.

  2. eMobility Apps Demo 1: Electronic Technical Logbook (ETL/ELB) – PilotLog & CabinLog
    Next you will see demos of popular Trax Mobile M&E Apps, starting with PilotLog and CabinLog which together form the Electronic Technical Logbook solution.  You will see how PilotLog allows Pilots to monitor their aircraft before, during and after flight; input defects encountered while in flight and access defect history; sync with the database when in range; enter or access flight data, fuel data, de-icing and servicing data; perform an electronic release to service for the aircraft.  For CabinLog you will see how crew can use their iPads to record defects that occur in the cabin while in flight which are then transmitted to mechanics who can take care of them in a timely way upon landing.

  3. eMobility Apps Demo 2: Line Maintenance – QuickTurn & Line Control
    Next you will see Trax’s powerful Line Maintenance solutions.  Beginning with QuickTurn for mechanics to manage defects and close work orders; also for dent mapping, delays, troubleshooting, aircraft transactions, part requirements on the fly, install and remove part transactions, view dashboards that display assignments by aircraft, and more.  Then Line Control for Maintenance Control to track line maintenance work including all tasks, deadlines, defects and non-routines, plus assign line tasks to mechanics and track progress.

  4. eMobility Apps Demo 3: Digital Task Cards – Task Control
    Next you will see the digital task card solution – Task Control, designed specifically for the worksite. You will see how mechanics can start, stop and complete their work; create Non-Routine Task Cards and Picklists on the fly; and record Aircraft Part Number transactions live. Advanced features include: Read & Sign, Notifications, Picklist, Non-Routine Task Cards, Task Card Survey, Aircraft Part Number Transaction, Barcode Scanning, and uploading of photographs.

  5. AI, ML, ChatGPT Developments: Smart Queries
    Trax will then discuss the emergence of next generation technology such as AI, Machine Learning (ML), and conversational AI platforms such as ChatGPT, and how they are revolutionizing the way we manage maintenance in the airline industry. They will outline the benefits such as how AI / ML systems can analyse vast amounts of data, identify patterns, and make predictions about potential maintenance needs, such as when parts may fail or need replacement.  You will also see how this new technology is being harnessed by Trax to develop and improve their solutions, such as Smart Queries in the MRO system using ChatGPT rather than complex menus to find information in seconds, such as spare parts requests or viewing all open defects; and predictive analytics powered by AI and ML.

About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:

Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.

Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues.
